How To Carry Out Stain Removal Safely

In the first instance, simply apply a sponge or absorbent cloth to remove excess liquid.

When this has been done, you will be left with the staining material which has managed to soak into the fibers. The faster you approach the problem, the greater will be your chances of removing the stain completely. Using water combined with vinegar will be effective in most cases, so long as the stain has not become hard. Use lukewarm water if you wish, but avoid using boiling water as this can do further damage. Always rub from the outside of a stain toward the center as this will prevent the stain from spreading.

While most stain removal can easily be carried out by anyone who has dome some basic research, there are times when you will need the services of a professional.
